Okay, looks like we're going with a gift certificate. I agree with Sue that we need to think BIG, Angels!! Please send the money to dick0382@umn.edu via PayPal, or to my address: Casey Dickinson
I would much rather purchase the gift certificate AT the store than chance it by having them mail it to me, so please- if you're going to donate, do it asap! Let's rock this gift!!

A gift certificate could always be wrapped up in a gorgeous box! It doesn't just have to be in a card.

I don't know if we would want poor Johnny opening up 6 boxes to get to his gift (though it may remind him of those Russian dolls within a doll within a
doll within a doll...) - - but a gift certificate could be in a very nice envelope and then placed inside a nice box (like the size of a glove box) with tissue
paper and beautifully wrapped.

important than getting it in person. Surely, they must have some way to send it safely through the mail, insured or whatever.

I will be happy to send money since I don't have PayPal but how do you want it sent? Check? Money Order? I don't like to send cash in the mail
especially during the holidays. I assume a check/mo would be made to you Casey?

Sorry for the delayed total. Just got home from NYC- what a crazy trip!
Thanks to everyone who is contributing to this. If we get enough, we should be able to go ahead and get an Hermes gift certificate. If nothing else, it would put quite a dent in a purchase Johnny would make (unless it's a Birken...doubt we'll collect enough for one of those). |
