Does anyone know if Johnny is comming to Japan this June as a guest skater in show called Ice Jewelry?
There's an ad for Ice Jewelry, held in Ishikawa Japan on June 27th & 28th, and it says Johnny will be a guest skater, but this has not been recorded on
his official website event and I was wondering if this is a confirmed imformation or not. If anyone knows about it let us know!

This website seems to indicate he'll be there...but it would help if I could read Japanese! Honestly, there's his picture (along with Miki Ando, Surya
and Viktor) but the poster below doesn't have his picture. I've no idea what "Johnny Weir" looks like in Japanese characters (I've
actually got the Russian letters sussed) so I don't know. Any Japanese angels who could help?

 I I wasn't sure which
flight Johnny was on but I was managed to meet him at Narita today!
In spite of the long flight, nearly 13 hours, Johnny looked really nice with his blue shirt. |

Meg, I'm so glad you were able to meet Johnny at the airport - I'm sure it means a lot to him when he arrives in another country to have his Angels
there to greet him!
Just curious: was Viktor Petrenko with him? I know Viktor is in the show, too, so I wondered if they flew over together. Pippa

Johnny looks great! That looks like the shirt he wore when I met him at the ice plex, but it was with red, not lighter blue. And I like the flowers, too.

Yes! It was just a coincidence that he was wearing blue. I brought blue and light purple roses because it was the colors from his costume "On the Wings
of Time".
Johnny was by himself. He told me Victor took flight from Newark and Johnny from NY. I guess they will be meeting in Kanazawa, where the show will be held, an hour flight from Tokyo. Johnny said there will be a rehearsal today. He's always so busy, I hope he gets over with his jet lag soon! Meg |
