Yeah, one thing that shocked me was when Paris (am I the only one who thinks he sounds just like Johnny?) mentioned that he used to be a figure skater, too. I
never knew that...it was enlightening, though...

Thanks, Reet. What a great article. It's obvious that the author put some real thought into Johnny's "persona" and his ability to be himself.
It's wonderful that he thinks Johnny is a great role model because he isn't trying to be one. Sounds like he really liked the movie. I love the part
about how Johnny has "overly nuturing" parents, and that's why he expects the world to take him as he is.

Does anyone who lives in the US know anything about how to sign up for the Sundance Chanel? I want to do it so I can watch PSOI and Johnny's reality show,
but I can't get any information on how to do that...

It depends upon the cable or satellite company you get your non-local channels from. Sometimes it's part of a multi-channel package, sometimes it might be
part of a movie channel package. You'll have to check your family's cable bill and then the channels the provider offers.

Sundance is usually included when you sign up for the Showtime movie package as it is owned by Showtime but as Salfy said, check with your cable/satellite
company.

I got a e-mail from "Shinshokan" (the publisher of Japanese figure skating magazine "World Figure Skating").
It says that DVD of "Pop Star on Ice" will be released in Japan. Details will be announced on their web site. http://www.shinshokan.co.jp/figure/dvd_popstaronice.html (written in Japanese.) YAY!
