I found out this morning (thanks to jlove) that my email adress was not working. I do have this problem fixed now. If you had tried to send me anything before,
I did not recieve it. Please feel free to post/pm/email with any questions you may have regarding the scrapbook. If you pm/email me and I do not know the
answer, I will find out for you and let you know.

You're welcome Audi. A couple of WIFKs wrote they would start working on pages. Thanks so much for taking care of it.
Thanks also to Casey for posting all those great ideas. I have the pages, I still need to find an idea. |

Yay! I will have to get back on the WIFK-- I can't practice much French here :P-- and it may help with the scrapbook as well!

I got the first two pages, and they look great!!! I can't wait to start seeing some more! With everyone participating- on all boards from all over the
world- I hope we can get at least 100 page this year.

I don't know, but from what I've heard- there are MANY people that said they would make pages on other boards-- between 60 and 70 from one board-- and
if at least over 50% of them participated and everyone else really gets into it, we should easily make 100 pages. I really hope everyone from all over the
world can work together to make this happen-- to make Johnny's face light up! You don't have to be an artist, just write a few words- say Happy
Birthday- paste a few pictures on a nice background and I'm sure it will make him happy. Just showing him all together reminding him how many fans he has,
and how many are rooting for him every competition whether they are, from across the world or in the rink as the competitions continue. It may be his last
season and it is his 25th birthday-- I know I sound like a broken record, but if thats what it takes for one more person to make a page, I will repeat myself
every chance I get. Some of the things we want to do as Angels and as ordinary fans, is to see him happy with his fans and to see him suceed in his
competitions. If you are better with computers, make a page on there and e-mail it to me. I will make sure it is on nice paper. I would love to see this
project exceed my hopes, for Johnny.

The largest scrapbook was in 2006, right after the Olympics, 96 pages if I remember correctly? I agree with Audi, your page doesn't have to be a work of
art - Johnny's first question every year is "How many pages are there?" so we know it's important to him. Also, don't wait until the
deadline to get started!

I completely agree with Audi. We can easily have 100+ pages in this book if people commit to the project.
The cover is finished. I'll post when I have a camera. |

lemonade17 wrote:There's no reason not to hope for great participation, and sure, it would be terrific if we could have a scrapbook that big - Johnny would love it, and so would many of us. But please, let's just be cautious about deciding how many pages there should be ahead of time - the last thing we need is disappointment and resentment among the Angels if the scrapbook doesn't reach 100+ pages (particularly considering that there were only half that many pages last year). However many people turn in pages before the June 1 deadline, that will be the scrapbook and we should be appreciative of it (as I'm sure Johnny will be). Pippa

I think it's logic that if someone doesn't make a page that they didn't commit to the project for whatever reason, which is 100% their business and
nothing disappointing at all.

I have had a couple emails regarding this, so I thought I'd put this out here: if anyone wants to just bounce an idea off someone, or needs help with any
aspect of the pages, feel free to email me.

Regarding the June 1st deadline - I hope everyone will try their very best to get their pages to Audi by then! But I do want to point out that as the
coordinator, she has the option to extend the deadline if there are still people working on their pages at that time and she can still get the scrapbook put
together by Johnny's birthday (July 2). In the past, the deadline has in fact been extended more often than not. But that's not written as an excuse to
procrastinate, LOL!

I haven't really gotten a free weekend because of show choir and a short trip to Fredricksburg. Hopefully, by this weekend, if nothing comprimises my time,
I plan on doing my "inspiration" themed page on Saturday.
