If I'm understanding this correctly, Johnny skated to a version of his free skate music at the ice show in Russia. For those who saw the YouTube video of
the performance, do you think we saw a small preview of Johnny's free skate or was he skating to choreography done by the show?

I think the step sequence may be for the free skate. Usually Johnny doesn't do step sequences in EX.

While it's hard to say for certain, according to what he posted on his official website, the music is not the same for the Free Skate.
There are several other songs from "Notre Dame de Paris" that I hope Johnny uses in his Free Skate: "Belle" and "Le Temps des Cathedrales" (without the vocals of course) Here is an interesting video someone did combining music from a number of songs and using Johnny's FS from this past season. I hope he uses "Le Temps des Cathedrales." That piece is my favorite and I can just "see" him doing something beautiful with it.
