Hi everybody! In advance I'm sorry for my bad English, but I wanna tell some words about show in St.-Petersburg.

The idea of the show was strange enough because it have decided to unite some figure skaters and two popular singers who've become famous thanks to Russian TV-сompetition"Two stars". They act as a duet and sang by turns. Often their songs accompanied performances of figure skaters during this show.

Figure skaters from Petersburg took part basically. Among them were very known persons like Olympic champions Totmjanina-Marinin, world champions Petrova-Tikhonov, the champion of Russia Sergey Voronov and others. Johnny was a unique foreign star. He skated two solo performances, "Yunona & Avos" (a song from the Russian musical with the same name) and "Ave Maria". And he also has done turn three together with Sergey Voronov and the Russian figure skater Konstantin Menshov (actually not so known even in the homeland). Three together they skated the Russian version "Belle" from "Notre Dame de Paris". Later Johnny has told to fans that he was not going to skate "Yunona & Avos", wished to prepare a new "Russian number", but simply was not in time. Already there was tradition that in Russia he skates "Yunona". Last year he executed it on gala after Cup of Russia and already then has told that perform it for the last time (for the first time he skated it at gala after the Worlds-2005 in Moscow). Now he promised that it was for the last time again . And fans really would like something new, we'll hope that Johnny will prepare that new Russian number which he spoke about for following visit to Russia.

He looked perfectly well, he was very cheerful and when figure skaters left on the bow, he spoke something to Voronov, shook his shoulders, clapped - it was visible that the event gives him enormous pleasure. After representation has ended, Johnny distributed autographs directly near a tribune. The hall was empty already, security guards tried to expose the remained public and to close the doors, but in that place where Johnny stood the crowd continued to remain.

The crowd waited for him on an exit from the Ice palace where Johnny still for a long time communicated with admirers and continued to distribute autographs while some people tried to catch a taxi for him. The fact that for Weir haven't ordered the car by phone, and caught it directly in the street, confirm not so good vocational organisation of this show. One of newspapers of St.-Petersburg was perplexed about it too and has written that the organizers which anything similar didn't do before were engaged of this show preparation. But audience was really big. Not all public was interested in figure skaters because many people have come to listen to songs. Those two singers about whom I've told in the beginning have a lot of fans of the most different age, from young girls to adult women.

Johnny's skating was faultless. Except him the same admiration in me have caused only Petrova and Tikhonov. Known enough Russian actor who constantly spoke any nonsense at which admirers of Weir frankly laughed was the compere. It was clear that he doesn't know who is Johnny actually, therefore after Weir skated "Ave Maria", this man has declared: "Though Johnny is the American and doesn't understand me, I will speak to him in Russian". Though all of us know that Johnny talks in Russian rather good and for certain has perfectly understood his words.

I've tried to film Johnny's performances on video. Quality is not so good, but it's possible to consider something. Also there are some photos which have been made of a spectator hall.
