Hi Angels -
I put together a page of photos that both Janice and I took of her visit to the Bay Area. Mostly they're about the visit and only peripherally about Johnny.
Briefly put, Janice flew in on Thursday 8/3 and we drove through San Francisco, stopping to sample sour dough and clam chowder at Pier 39 (well, Janice is vegetarian, so only I had the chowder) and then drove across the Golden Gate Bridge and up to the top of Mt. Tamalpais where I pointed out where I live on the other side of the Bay. We ate in Berkeley and finally drifted home quite late for dessert and wine.
Fortunately Janice is a cat person so she quickly bonded with my two hellions - Boomer (he's easy) and Smudge (who surprized me by hanging around us all night and we were up really late!) I'd fixed the den up into a Johnny room - but I can't show you those pictures because they involve artwork I downloaded from here and other sites, and so I don't have permission to post them. But Kristina said we could show you the hall made up of Johnny magazine covers. I should tell you all that I'll be replacing the last cover with the one I got signed by both Plushy and Johnny in San Francisco.
On Friday morning we walked down to the bay - about two blocks from my condo - so there's a few photos of that. And the rest of the trip you know - we drove into Sacramento that night for the first show, then drove into San Jose on Saturday for the second show (a matinee) and into San Francisco on Sunday for the matinee there. Oh - we did detour into SF to buy the BlackBook for Johnny before the matinee.
One other thing I didn't mention - I found some photo purses and made them into Johnny purses, which I carried to the various shows. Johnny was quite taken by them, so I've included pictures of those here, too.
