I also left my critiques at the facebook page. I liked how she covered the skating judging, but raised my eyebrows at the sexuality discussion. (BTW, the second paragraph was an attempt at a "cosmic paragraph" that was a total loser and should have been lost.) Johnny's quotes write the article for her for the most part.

Yet reading the article between the lines made me think of how Coco Chanel-like Johnny has become. He's trying to stay really true to himself and not mold himself to anyone's stereotypes. THAT should have been the theme. As for love, it will find him because he contains a gravitational force field for both radiating and attracting it.

Overall, I thought that it was just great that New York Magazine would devote a very long article to Johnny and set the stage for people wanting to read his book. Or writing another article. I'm hoping that other writers at the New Yorker, New York Times, and Playboy will see how much room has been left for another, better article that nails it. They might want to write an article just to meet him, and might even be honest enough to admit it.
