I'd be more worried which of the three US male skaters will benefit from the "boost" of the USFSA federation, being the first ranked US skater. Jeremy is a national champion, Johnny finished higher at the olympics. I actually fear they might make the same mistake again and will try politiking them both, or Jeremy more even if he falters again. Johnny could have been on the podium in Vancouver if TPTB didn't try its best to pull Jeremy up on the rankings. With the olympic gold medalist now being an American, the USFSA should be able to hold enough power in its hands to get Johnny on the podium, IF he skates as well as he did in Vancouver (no fall, no left out jump, etc.).
