Johnny looked good today in practice - FS practice in the main rink. Did a 4-3-tano2! Jumps looked smooth, but he just blocked out his program, some footwork, no spins. He is wearing the red CCCP jacket for warm-up, by the way!

After checking with Guest Services, Nancy and I will hang the banner tomorrow morning. We found out that the ISU is still going to be hanging things in the rink (like the boards, maybe some banners, and putting the logo on the ice) tonight. So anything hung before tonight might have been moved but should be safe tomorrow. She and I are meeting at 7.40 AM tomorrow to hopefully get the best spot available!

Stephane looked great in practice today, footwork and spins. His change of edge spins are even fast, oh boy! I didn't watch the Canadian men today, however. And I have trouble paying attention to Evan and Matt because Someone Else is on the ice at the same time, with the early practices being by nation. I got a bunch more photos with skaters today, and I've gotten almost all of my autographs that I want already! The American dance teams were here today, but that secondary rink is really small so the teams were having trouble fitting in their twizzle and footwork sequences. Tanith even fell once, so unusual! Many of you may know that I love Fumie, and wow she looked terrific in practice this morning! YAY!

Tonight I'm going out to dinner with my friend Bonnie shortly. Tomorrow will be a very long day......

Keep the candles burning!

Hope you all are able to get results tomorrow, even if the online tv broadcast seems a bit disappointing.....
