The main thing I forgot to say about last night's (Friday's) practice was that in the middle of Johnny's group, one set of the arena lights suddenly went out! They made the skaters get off the ice until they fixed the problem.

Also, both arenas are in a park and exhibition hall area that is the home of the Calgary Stampede - a very famous rodeo that happens every summer. And the odor when you walk outside, is um, well, kind of like a horse or cattle stable smell, LOL!

Johnny ended both practices today early. In the morning practice in the main arena he blocked out his SP. In the afternoon practice it was Otonal. I gave Patti the map and letter to give to him, as he chose not to stop for autographs both times that he left the ice.

Lambiel had two hard falls in his morning practice. I didn't stay for his evening one. Buttle looks good, Emanuel was Emanuel (in other words, sometimes wonderful, sometimes not.....) Joubert is looking good. No one really stood out to me. Probably my favorite practice of the day was the first one I attended - both French teams Free Dance. The American ice dance teams have not been at official practices yet.

It is even colder today, but at least now I have the C-train all figured out!

Johnny is not planning on coming to his morning practice tomorrow, as it's scheduled for some crazy time like 6.30 AM!

I enjoyed spending time with friends today, old and new, getting some autographs and pics with some skaters (Domnina and Shabalin, Inoue and Baldwin, Oda, and Davydov - well not too many pics but a few!)

Take care Angels! Light some candles!
