Fingers crossed that the physiotherapy works.

Last December, on a particularly cold morning, I wrenched the muscles between my shoulder blades just sneezing. I was holding my head too stiffly, and the sneeze wracked through me like a tidal wave. And snap, my whole neck and upper shoulders tied up in the most agonizing spasm. I've had neck problems for about fifteen years now, but on a scale of 1-10, this was like 15. As I was still behind the wheel, I could barely even flex my shoulders. When I got on the train, I immediately took Advil, but that barely took the edge off the pain. Thanksfully, my physical therapist had an opening that day, and he was able to loosen up a lot of the knots. I needed three follow-up appointments before I felt 100% again.

So Johnny has my heartfelt sympathy. I could barely turn my head--I can't imagine trying to jump, spin, etc. in that kind of pain. I'm amazed he did as well as he did. Over at SkateFans, people were grumbling that his marks were too low, so Johnny definitely has some support from the fans.
