I'm so glad to see at least the press is being kind. I could've kissed the Boston Globe writer for pointing out the idiocy of Johnny having to wait for a bus. Kudos to Johnny for not putting all the blame on his transportation woes, but it's hard to believe that that didn't play a huge role in shattering his concentration all to pieces. I mean, if everything had been hunky-dory and Johnny had stumbled anyway... okay. Skaters get nervous sometimes: I can deal with that. But I'm left with a very bitter taste in my mouth, wondering that if Johnny's head had been in a more positive place, the results last night might've been very, very different.

Too bad we'll never know.

I'm glad to see Johnny's sense of humor is still intact, and I hope dearly that he is able to make a fresh start after this fiasco--if not at Worlds next month, than certainly next season.
