i hope so..
she took a swipe at him today and got his nose real good, which has me worried. she's never struck my older cats in play or anger, ever, with claws out, like she did to him today.

i'm very worried about it.. seems he'll be shut in my room for many days to come, while we're not here to monitor them.

i wondered if maybe if the fact he's not neutered yet, has anything to do with it? not that he's running around spraying, or coming at her like that, but my older boy, TZ, got a lot more calm when he got fixed, so maybe he's just viewed as more of a threat to her right now? not to mention the whole 'ruby is no longer the baby' syndrome. but we have been giving her much attention, too, so she's not left out. my older cats are totally cool with him, in fact he and haiti had a nose-to-nose sniff-fest earlier. TZ likes him except for when sage tries to get TZ's tail, then he gets angry. the usual stuff.

but ruby... wow.

if it doesn't clear up eventually i'm afraid we'll have to turn him over to someone else, which'll break all our hearts. i really want him. i thought he and ruby would make great playmates as they are both spazzy kittens, but we'll see.
