Wow Tony, that was really brave. I think your parents just need some more time to adapt to this, so your Dad might come round after some further consideration. I understand it was a shock to them at first, inasmuchas they realised there is/was something in your life they didn't know about when they likely believed to know you inside and out. What they should see on second thoughts is the courage you needed (and showed!) in telling them, plus how much you care for them since you wanted them to know. I hope it will all work out fine. In any case you can be proud of yourself, as your parents should be, too. :7
