I would have written almost the same as Vicky. Actually, I saw some little witches on Halloween! But Halloween in Germany is still relatively new. This tradition of walking from door to door to get sweets used to be practiced on New Year's Eve instead (known as "Rummeln"), but I don't think many kids still do this nowadays. Especially not if there's Halloween instead. :b

Holidays? What holidays? :lol There apparently are some, but none of them is noticable for me. Otherwise I wouldn't have spent the last few days at university. So to me, November is nothing special. No holidays, no turkey, no anything. :\

btw Casey, if you don't know how to type an umlaut with your keyboard, you can just make those letters ae, oe and ue - that's what we do in crossword puzzles. :) It's great to relate language lessons to figure skating, isn't it? :) I loved that comment!
