......What Laser Braids and BittyBug said!

Actually, LB and I met up, and it's so nice to attach the real person with the messages! I was very impressed by all the skaters, and thought Marina Shelton's brother and sister were incredible considering the emotions that must have been running through them. Johnny's program was over WAY too fast, and I admit I saw most of it thru the lens of my camera. I hope the pitcures come out well. Just to be safely superstitious, I'm going to get quadruples of them made!

Meeting him and sharing a brief but personal talk made my year. I am glad that the CT gig was cancelled, because I don't think I would have had the opportunity that I did at the more intimate Nashoba rink. I asked him to sign my 2001 Nationals program, and he remarked, "gee you still have this? it's so old". I told him of course I treasure it, having gone to the competition, but I couldn't help laughing, saying, 'well YOU were A LOT younger then, but for me, three years ago seems like yesterday!' He is so open and sweet, and he gave of himself for this young girl, right along with every other skater. I am so glad I had the chance to meet him, and now he's going to blow the doors off of men's figure skating for years to come. Can't wait. See you in Providence, Johnny.
