Well, it looks like Johnny did indeed meet the real Lady Gaga (FSO Online says so on their Twitter page http://twitter.com/fsonline/)! He must have been so thrilled. Do you think she has seen him perform to her song?

Johnny's agent, Tara Modlin, posted on her Facebook that she and Johnny met Lady Gaga today and Gaga "loved Johnny's Balenciaga, of course."
She also says that Gaga's mother is a big figure skating fan, so maybe that had something to do with bringing the meeting about.

Apparently we have to wait until next JANUARY to see photos of Johnny meeting Lady Gaga.
 His agent is under some kind of contract (I'm not sure with who) that prevents her
from being able to release the photos until US Nationals next year. I guess it is a publicity thing and they are hoping it will raise interest in US skating
leading up to the Olympics to have one of their skaters shown with a pop star. It might be why Johnny didn't wait until after he met Lady Gaga for his
journal - maybe he can't discuss it at length right now.

Hmmm, I'm thinking maybe the meeting was filmed for the upcoming reality series. If so, I guess it's the Sundance channel that has the rights to any pics/vids associated with the meeting. And how cool that Johnny got to meet Lady Gaga! She needs to feature him in a video. |

I was going to ask if the shows on Sunday were cancelled.
Another post says that there were 2 shows, but the fan meeting was cancelled. I am glad he is out of there in case North Korea decides to play with missles this week. CarolM

Things did not go well this morning for our boy. Johnny's health is fine, it's travel that's the problem: Back to the
airport. What a disaster. I want to sleep so much... Off the plane to the rink.
 Oh my God. Went to the airport, got delayed, sat on the plane two hours, then they cancel. At home for three hours then back to the EWR.
Airplane travel can be such a pain at times. |

We had severe thunderstorms in New Jersey yesterday which most likely delayed Johnny's departure. I actually thought he flew out yesterday morning but he
must have had an afternoon flight. I was driving home from work and saw cloud to ground lightening in front of me and behind me and the rain was coming down
so heavy you couldn't see in front of you. It has rained in New Jersey almost every single day since Memorial Day and we would really like to see more
sunshine and less rain.
