All sorts: movie songs (Day-o), Josh Groban (Alle luce de la sole), musical songs (Defying Gravity), and Dennis DeYoung songs (Best of Times). I'm very
eclectic, you know.

My sibling got the Wicked soundtrack Thursday night, and I love the songs "What Is This Feeling?" because I can relate to that song and I also sang
it at my school, "For Good", which is a beautiful goodbye ballad, and I absolutely enjoy belting out to "Defying Gravity".

I recently have been hooked to listening to Michael Crawford on the original recording of "The Phantom of the Opera" with Sarah Brightman, along with
"Time To Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli again with Sarah Brightman.

Who likes Indian music? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bAN7Ts0xBo I actually like this song. I first heard it when my World Geography teacher shared a video of this guy during our South, Southeast, and East Asia unit. I heard it again last night on an ABC tv show called "The Unusuals". |

I'm officially hooked on the song "Love Story" by Taylor Swift. I usually do not like country music, but from time to time, I have come to
tolerate some country songs such as "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood. I really like "Love Story" because it doesn't sound
country, it is a happier take on the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet, and the lyrics are really good, too. I listen for it on the radio in my sibling's
car whenever I get the chance.

Though I don't have him on a CD, Howard McGillan has become one of my favorite Phantoms from the musical "The Phantom Of The Opera". Michael
Crawford still rules #1 as the Phantom for me because he was the original and provides a hypnotic, angelic tone for the voice of the Phantom (here's an
example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5dhyiqhR7Y&feature=related), but
Howard has the powerful vibrato that Michael doesn't have and holds the record of the most performances as the Phantom, so I put him right at #2 (a sample
of him singing here with Sandra Joseph, who sounds great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4QnS2AXyzA)
. I also like Phantom John Cudia, who will be taking over Howard's spot for good as the Phantom (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCHVigMXf7o). Another Phantom is Hugh Panaro, who is a veteran Phantom, sounds
a little similar to John, has a handsome face, and is quite humourous (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIL60AJyn3E&feature=related). And someone who would be
a good Phantom would be Antonio Banderas. Here's a video of him singing with Sarah Brightman (the original Christine): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S88rkpPu8_g&feature=related I love the Spanish accent
he has here. And his voice is light and beautiful.
