Hope some photos will show up soon as well, I'd love to see what the theatre looks like.
Nova, I only had my phone with me to take pictures and it doesn't do justice to buildings and the interior was simply too dark. Here's a Web page with some photos of the building: http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-egyptian-theatre-seattle |

New York Premiere | ||
|
Bought my tickets yesterday for NewFest. I'm so looking forward to going to see this! And, after a hiatus from living in Manhattan, I get to play tourist
for a long weekend!
BTW, anyone interested in buying tickets, you can do so on the NewFest website or by phone. For the latter, expect to pay a $5 service charge per ticket. |

I was going to buy tickets to the New York premiere, but if the tickets to the one in Silver Springs, MD is cheaper, than that is the one I will go to. New
York and Silver Springs are the same distance from my place so price is what is choosing this time.

I'm so jealous! Why not Chicago?? We are a big city with lots of film-goers....and if it matters, a large GLBT population!
We also have a a film fest (but I think it's not till October)....aaaargh!!! I don't want to have to fly to go see this movie (I hate flying and recent events haven't helped)

Popstar On Ice Soundtrack Album Preview | ||
|
I thought you might like to know that you can listen to a preview of Popstar On Ice's original soundtrack album, by visiting http://virb.com/giopoprock.
The original soundtrack, written and performed by Giovanni Spinelli, also features the theme rap song "My Moment", sung by John MackEnflow (music by Spinelli, lyrics by Sneaky Pete), and bonus "inspired by" tracks sung by Lindsay Campbell and Katy Cunningham. The soundtrack album will soon be available on Itunes, Amazon, et al. Hope you enjoy it! gspin |

I've asked this before, but why not pay per view on the Internet? I was fortunate to be at the premiere in Seattle, but if I could see it again, right now,
over the Internet, for $10 or $15, I would. I realize it's only June 7th, and there are many film festivals ahead, including NY at $50 a seat, but, with
all due respect, I know there is more money worldwide that is honestly being "left on the table". Johnny's fans are endless, (no, finite), but
are willing to pay right now to see the film, some to see it again!! I do not understand why there are not simultaneous premieres "spanning the
globe". Russia, S. Korea, Japan, China, and all of Europe, and North America come to mind. Does anyone agree, disagree, or have no opinion? I respect
everyone's point of view.

Same here! I live in Chicago...a major US city, with no Pop Star on Ice planned, as far as I can tell. Do I need to leave town (go to a coast?) in order to see
this. I would pay to see in some other fashion, if I can't see it in the theatre now and have to wait for a DVD.

Couldn't agree more. Especially with all the European fans for Johnny who are constantly neglected in the past couple of seasons, becasue Johnny rarely
comes here, or if he does, he goes to Russia, or for a week in small obscure cities (not accessable to the mass). We barely get to see Johnny on TV, yet alone
live, so an online pay-per-view option would be helpful to loads of us, imho.
