About ten minutes after we sat down, they announced on the loudspeaker that Johnny and Jeremy were signing autographs in the lobby so my husband and I got up and went to the lobby. Johnny and Jeremy were standing behind the counter where you rent skates and there was already a line so we got on line with Steve holding the camera and me holding the gift I bought for Johnny. When I got to the front of the line, Johnny, who had curly hair, got a big smile on his face and said "hi" so I guess he remembered me from December at the Ice Vault. I gave Johnny the gift and told him it's to go along with the calendar I gave him in December, (I gave Johnny a chihuahua calendar in December and a coffee mug with a chihuahua on it tonight). I asked Johnny when his reality show would be on the Sundance Channel and he told me it was pushed back to the fall and the dvd would be out around the time of the Olympics. Then he told me he was just getting over bronchitis and he had not been to the rink until today but he finally picked up all the gifts and cards that were there and he would be sending out thank yous soon. I gave Johnny a hug and asked for a photo with him, he posed on top of the counter but I told him I was too old to jump up there so I just stood next to him. The photo came out really nice so I'm going to attempt to use it as my avatar instead of the one I have now. We thanked Johnny and returned to the rink for the show.
The Zaretskis and Jeremy were there along with a very talented junior skater from the Ukraine and a very funny acrobatic team. There were another ice dance team, Fraser and Lunanin, along with some of the scholarship winners from the arena. All the skaters skated twice except for Johnny, I guess he was waiting for his costume to arrive. Johnny was the last skater and he skated to Ava Maria and he was fantastic as always. I'm sorry but after seeing Jeremy and Johnny skating almost back to back, you can see how much better a skater Johnny is. Anyway, afterwards everyone came out for a final bow and Johnny of course got the most applause. We left after the show since I had already seen Johnny and my son was eager to get home to watch the end of the basketball game.
*A special thank you to Joanne who took the time to find me in the lobby and asked about my mom*

...a kiss little boy!
