Nova & futureidol: that poster in question is definitely a "she", and is indeed emotionally invested in Evan, being a regular poster on his forum.

Thanks nova! That person on the IN boards claims not to be biased and says they have no investments in any particular skaters as a fan, but they seem obsessed with belittling Johnny and diminishing his accomplishments. He/She also seems to have a serious problem with Belbin and Agosto. Almost all of his/her posts are obsessively by the numbers, technical, new scoring system loving, and cold. They don't seem to have any appreciation for grace, flow of movement, poise, posture, creativity,...

futureidol, welcome to the board. I also read your posts on Icenetwork. I used to post there a lot under the same name before they changed it but now it is just to complicated for me so I just go and lurk, hahaha. I was posting the most during the "Johnny was robbed beyond words at Nationals with a stupid tie" era and was waging war with a crazy Evan fan named Gabesgram or something for months. To tell you the truth, the poster that has been molesting you has almost idential posting...

Thanks for letting me know that. Maybe it was for the best though as I was very sick and probably full of germs (I got pneumonia at a Yankee game 3 hour rain delay less than a week before). I'm kind of kicking myself for letting those opportunities go though. I even brought stuff for him to sign, a letter of encouragement written on a postcard with one of my favorite art pieces I've done (that I know he'd love too), and of course I had my camera. If he does his annual December...

Just so you know for the future, Johnny usually does come out and greet his fans after shows even if there is no official meet and greet. That is one of the reasons why Johnny is so beloved, he really puts his fans first.

RE: Lake Placid show "Sadly there was no fan meet and greet after the show."

After he changed clothes, Johnny did come out to sign autographs and pose for pictures (see my avatar). Even though it was not an announced meet and greet, there was a good sized crowd of people waiting for him.

Also a local Lake Placid skater/commentator interviewed him and it was posted on LifeSkate I think. Here is a picture I took while he was being interviewed:

Welcome to the board, I read your responses on Icenetwork all the time. The first time I met Johnny I was terrified and I know I made a fool of myself by yelling at my son in front of Johnny but as Kristina told me, it gets easier and the second and third time were so much better. I hope you get to meet Johnny again, I don't know if you live in the New York/New Jersey area but Johnny usually skates in the show at his rink in December and he always does a meet and greet afterwards.

Hello everyone I am a long time Johnny fan (since I first saw him on TV in 2002 and I fell in love with his skating instantly, I even cried at the sheer beauty of his movement) and a long, long, long time figure skating fan (especially the Men and Ice Dance disciplines). I started watching the sport in '88 when I was 5 (I am 1 year older than Johnny) and I've been hooked ever since. My other all time favorite skaters are: Boitano, Browning, Yagudin, Wylie, Lambiel, and Takahashi....
