Gift Certificate or Purchase Gift?

My two cents regarding the gift certificate- I can get one in NYC on 12/16, or you can usually order them by phone. Problem is if you order by phone, then they mail it to you. That's like mailing money, and I hate mailing large amounts of money. So if we do decide to do a gift certificate, we need to start NOW. Same if we do a gift, really. I can get it in NYC if no one else wants to try and get something. I'll make a poll, but my question is this- is there anyone else interested in...

According to my dad, rumor has it that Johnny will be a special guest during a Christmas Party at the Hampton Roads Iceplex on December 19. It is a possibilty, but it's only a rumor. Then again, someone on the another thread, in which I shared my first meeting with Johnny, said that he would come back this year. He didn't come in the summer, so this could be it. If anyone has got any information relating to this, please feel free to share.

Here are the instructions for the album project which will be given to Johnny during the fan meeting at Nationals.

The Angels' reception for Johnny will be on Sunday, January 17th, from 5-7 PM.

It will be held in a nice meeting room at the Doubletree Hotel Spokane City Center, 322 North Spokane Falls Court. The Doubletree is close to the arena and is a major Nationals shuttle bus stop. Johnny will skate at the Ice Vault Winter Treasures Show 2009 (updated 12/05)

The Winter Treasures show at the Ice Vault is scheduled for Wednesday, December 16th. However, the website is not listing who is skating which is unusual because in the past they always listed Johnny and Viktor as participants. I am off from work on Friday so I think I may call the Ice Vault, if they tell me that Johnny is definitely skating in the show, I will go to the rink to buy my tickets. According to Patti, Johnny still has a slight cough, but he has completed another round of antibiotics and the sinus infection/cough is clearing up fine. He has been training full-out.
